We are so excited to share our recipes with you because we know that it’s a big adjustment to go from eating the meals you plan when you shop at the grocery store to eating what you are given in a surprise CSA subscription box. We hope our recipes will help that transition and keep you excited and knowledgeable about how to use your veggies.
We are also very excited to share some of our traditional Polish recipes! Farmer Kathy immigrated to the US from Poland when she was 18, and Farmer Peter’s parents are both from Poland, too! Especially when it comes to fermenting, there’s no food like Polish food!
Lastly, we have lots of dietary restrictions at Hader Farm. When our family of ten gets together for our weekly dinner, we have two vegetarians, one nut allergy, two gluten-free, one dairy-free, and one nightshade-free participant. Somehow, the toddlers are the least picky among us! That is to say, we’ve learned a thing or two about making recipes allergen-friendly, and while we can’t promise that every recipe will be suitable for every diet, we can promise you that we will try our best to showcase ways recipes can be adapted for certain restrictions!
